The Religious Education Program at Church of the Holy Family is multifaceted serving the needs of every member of our parish family. Realizing that parents are the primary educators for their children in faith and morals, the School of Religion provides them with a classroom faith formation program as a supplement to their liturgical and family life formation. Click here to view the Religious Education Handbook.

Kindergarteners presently are home schooled by their parents. It is our vision to have available during the 2009-10 school year periodic meetings as a support for parents and to acclimate the children to the religious education environment.

Grades 1- 7 classes are scheduled Sunday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Classes meet for an hour every other week and have approximately 12 students with two volunteer teachers in each class room.

Our Confirmation program for 8th and 9th graders is an extensive 2 year instruction period. Year one is a year of Formation and year two is their Preparation/Discernment year. Classes generally meet every other week on Sunday evenings. The Sacrament of Confirmation is customarily conferred in May of each year. Church of the Holy Family also has a lively youth ministry program welcoming all teens. Visit our TNT Youth Group page by clicking here.

Adults are urged to continually grow and develop in their faith by attending Advent and Lenten adult education series. Periodically speakers are scheduled to engage us all in current events and faith related issues. Bible studies are held throughout the year and requests are encouraged for days and evenings of reflection or topics of interest.

RCIA – (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) As Father Michael states, "Church should be a place where you can ask questions, seek answers, experience authentic relationships, and embrace the fact that you matter. Regardless of your past or your faith tradition, we welcome you to come as you are and to give church and God another try”. This is what RCIA is, the place where you can come back, be together with friends who question and are discerning their faith journey and the desire to join our parish family.
